[RAMBLES] Unorganized Thoughts About This Blog of Rambles

You know, I want to start making my blog active. I mean, really active. Like, I want to be posting at least a blog entry a day. I always feel like I have so much to write, but once I sit down, I start to get lazy. I ask myself “do I really want to spend the time writing all this”, as it often takes me a few hours to write one blog entry. That answer usually turns over to “let’s do that another day”, while the other part of me does so, but sometimes stops because I hit a wall in writing.

I think my favourite posts to write are the rambling ones that are just simply about my thoughts. They come out, usually without much planning. I wish I could say I liked doing reviews and writing about my day, but I find those become boring to write after a while. However, that doesn’t stop me from wanting to write about those things. I know some people care.

What do I ideally want to do with my blog? I think this is an important question to ask myself.

I want this to be a place where I can post anything I want to and have it designed in such a way where people can chose what content they want to go read up on. I want to have a vast amount of content on here, ranging from my day to reviews, so that there is something for everybody. Are you a family member who wonders how my trip to New York went? Come on here to read about it. Are you a friend who wanted to know what I thought about the most recent episode of that TV series we both watched, but haven’t been able to catch me online? Read about it on here. Are you a fan of my stories and want to know the progress of the one I’m currently working on? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

There’s a lot of content I want to offer! And I mean a lot of it!

I want to offer reviews. I want to offer them on everything I play, read, watch, listen to. I want to be able to spit out a review on that new manga I just read last night or the CD I bought a week ago. I want to do individual episode reviews of some of my favourite TV shows, then do an entire season (or series) review at some point (okay, not ALL the episodes – more like the most recent ones). I kind of started to do that, but it’s hard for me because I don’t know how I want to organize them and I feel like my reviews are kind of weak. I guess I feel like in a review, I should be trying to persuade you to buy or not to buy a product, when in actuality, I think it entirely depends on an individual’s taste. I think I need to keep that in mind that I’m simply giving my opinion and I am leaving it up to the individual to decide if they want to get the product or not.

I would love to start writing more about my day. Not everyday, since everyday isn’t interesting. However, I want to just write a bit more frequently about it. I have my Adventures in Retailing blog series I would love to do at least once a week, recounting either my actual work day or things I noticed overall at work. I sure as heck have a bunch of stories to tell related to the Self Checkout machines at work. I also want to make sure that within the first two days of taking a trip somewhere, I write about it. I don’t care if the trip is boring or generic for me, I should write about it. I feel bad I haven’t written about my trip to NYC on Wednesday yet, but honestly, I’m too distracted to do that (but not distracted enough to write this).

I want to start writing stories again and write about my progress updates as I go about it, keeping everybody informed. I want to continue drawing artwork and posting them up on here with an extended commentary about the process I go through to complete the images. I want to vent my frustrations about random things, whether it be artwork or how much I wish I didn’t have to sleep and that I never got lazy or tired. I want to begin writing guides to numerous things, like how to break down goals, how to keep one self motivated, and how I do my Painted Dreams style.

I actually have a plan for a new blog series called TrainerKelly’s Training Session where I try to start training you in numerous things. Primarily to start thinking differently. The aim is to help people make some changes in their life that will be positive. They might be some things people say all the time, but I want to help fluff out it.

Wow, I’m tired.

I should stop.

I’m not editing this post.

Too tired.

Good night, raaaawrrrr
